Exchange Rate Information (Our current exchange rate is always listed for your convenience on the Place Order page, and updated weekly.) Please note that all final auction values are rounded up to the nearest dollar. In order to pay Yahoo Japan sellers in a timely manner following their auctions, we must receive your payment quickly. We understand that PayPal is a preferred method of completing these payment transfers, as it is remarkably fast and convenient. As many of you already know, PayPal charges us a fee for every payment received. More importantly, however, Japan is not yet on the list of countries allowed to accept direct bank deposits, so it is impossible for us to withdraw your funds from PayPal directly into our bank. As a result, we have an American member of the Celga team withdraw the funds and wire them directly to our bank in Japan. These banks charge us transaction fees which must be absorbed by us along with the PayPal fees. The exchange rate that we use is calculated according to the current international rate, modified according to the amount we actually receive in our bank in relation to the amount that was originally wired. Please understand that until Japan is allowed to directly withdraw PayPal funds, these steps are necessary in order to complete your auction transactions.
