As a special service for Celga customers, we now offer individual accounts on Yahoo Japan, with your very own username and password!

Cost
Yahoo Japan charges a small monthly fee for each bidding account. However, since they no longer accept any foreign credit cards, we have to charge it to our bank account. So, now the fee is charged all at once for the entire year for only $36.
This fee must be paid by credit card, as we will use it to verify your card information for future bidding (this is explained below, so just keep reading!).

Auctions won through a Celga Gold user ID will be processed the same way as any other Celga win -- we handle all communication, pay the seller, have the items shipped to our office, and send them on to you. So all the basic Celga fees apply. (See Fees for more detail.) However, there are no additional per-auction fees for bidding with your Celga Gold account!

Setup fee (Waived in 2008!)
Normally there is a one-time setup fee of $15 to establish a Celga Gold account. For the rest of 2008 there will be NO setup fee to establish Celga Gold!

How to apply
Applying for a Celga Gold account is now easier than ever: just email us to request your new ID! We will then ask you to place a valid credit card number on file with us. Once your card is verified, we'll set you up with a Gold account.

Now for the really convenient part: whenever you win a Yahoo Japan auction, we will automatically charge your card for the auction price, markup, and shipping/transfer fees -- no more waiting for an invoice, paying it, then waiting for confirmation. It's all one step now! While we'll still send out invoices, of course, with all the pricing and fee data on recently won auctions, no action is required on your part. And the best bit? You won't need to maintain a deposit, since you'll be paying for your auctions immediately after winning. So you'll never miss an auction just because there isn't enough time to process a deposit.

Why go Celga Gold? Because you want the best possible chance of winning your favorite items on Yahoo Japan, even if that means sniping in the last ten seconds... at 3:30AM. Because you fear the words "second in line" when you spot that dream cel or extremely rare model kit. Because our rates are extremely competitive, and certainly cheaper than dealing directly with the few Yahoo Japan sellers who are willing to ship internationally. And because, as a valued Celga customer, you deserve it.

Two last notes
Okay, so I know this is probably stating the very, very obvious, but you just know that if I don't mention it, somebody's going to ask. *grin* So here goes.

Once you upgrade to a Celga Gold account, you no longer need to email Celga to tell us what you're bidding on. You have your own account, so just bid! ^_^

Second... and this is really an important note... there is no way to retract a bid once it has been placed on Yahoo Japan. So be very, very sure you want to bid on something, and how much you're willing to pay, before you place your own bid.

You are responsible for all bids made using your Celga Gold ID.
So make sure to keep your password secure!
